The UNIT System

All of Custom Kits Unit First Aid Kits contain units which are printed in large letters and every unit has a specific place in the kit. The neat arrangement of the units and uniform size makes the absence of any unit apparent and facilitates the need to reorder. The unit system also permits greater speed in rendering first aid. Concise and complete instructions are provided on each box.

Identification

Each unit is individually wrapped and color coded to provide instant identification for specific treatment. Red is for burns, blue is for antiseptics, yellow is for bandages and dressings, and green is for miscellaneous and special units, orange is personal protection items.  All units are statistically balanced to meet and basic need for on-the-job emergencies and fully comply with OSHA and ANSI specifications.

Protection

These kits are designed for maximum resistance to abuse and are also weather, rust and dust resistance. These heavy duty kits with moisture proof gasket assure complete protection of contents. As an added safety precaution cases have rounded corners to prevent injury to passers-by. Further assuredly of protection lies in the fact that each sterile dressing is individually wrapped to maintain its sterile condition until opened. Only the highest quality materials, manufactured under sanitary conditions are used throughout

Steel Cases

Each unit kit is made of 20 gauge steel and finished in baked enamel. These heavy duty kits are durably constructed for uses where emergency first aid material must be transported and are subject to rough handling. Each kit can easily be attached to any wall by hinge-type hangers. All kit covers when opened to a 90 degree angle serve as a convenient shelf. Attractively silk-screened. Kits come in four standard sizes - 10,16,24, and 36.
